Horses can start breeding at the age of 15, however horses can not show and stand at stud at the same time. Horses are pensioned and phased out of the game at 30. You must have a Breeding Manager token in order to breed.

Breeding and Foaling Season
Breeding Season is the Spring and Summer Season. Mares will foal the next sim year
Foaling Season is Winter and Spring Season.
Example: Mare bred in the Summer foals the next Spring.

Cross-Breed Breeding
Because the game accepts multiple breeds of horses, a question of weather cross-breeding two different horses will be allowed. At this time, cross-breeding is not allowed however it maybe in future years.

Public vs Private Stud Standing
Public: All the stallions are available for anyone to breed to.
Private: Only the owner can breed to. However, selected breedings will be implemented in the future.
